POPPING
Born in 1986 I started dancing "funkstyles" in 2002 mainly focusing on all the Illusion Styles such as Botting, King Tut, Waving, Cobra, Animation, Glides, etc. This eventually led to teaching in 2005. I find I’m constantly learning new techniques and consider myself sometimes a student! My main focus now is primarily on Boogaloo and Popping which my crew "Nomadic Funk", represent to the 100%, performing for various artists, events, as well as competing in various competitions at home (Melb) and Interstate. My goal is to help the ‘funkstyle’ community continue to grow, share knowledge and to educate the new generation of up and coming dancers who share my passion for these styles.

BREAK/B-GIRL
I started B-Girlin 3 years ago and was inspired
by the crew that I am extremely privileged to be
apart of “Fresh Sox”. I met a couple of B-Boys
from Fresh Sox while I was in Sydney for work and
became hooked as soon as I saw them all break. I
moved to Melbourne from my hometown, Auckland and
started training on my own for a good 6-9 months
and slowly got into the scene introducing myself,
again to “Fresh Sox”.
I represent the crews “Fresh Sox” and “Zulu
Kweenz”. I’ve performed a lot with Ladies Luv Hip
Hop as well as Fresh Sox. Earlier last year I
went to NZ and received a third place in the
B-Girl Battle at Body Rock. A week later I flew
to Sydney and received a first place at the
“Block Party” and a second place at the “Oz
B-Girl Battle for Supremacy”. I am glad to be a
part of the best Bboy Crew in Australia and to
have the great privilege of representing Zulu
Kweenz.
